It's all about the team!

An often undervalued part of building a successful company is the team.  We have learned that with the right combination of skills, experiences, personalities things start to fly. We realize that a good team is an important (if not even the most important) part of becoming a successful company.

Like Guy Kawasaki famously said: “Ideas are easy. Implementation is hard.

And successful implementation is all dependent on the team. It does not matter how great the idea is if they cannot pull it through.

We are therefore proud to announce we have grown the We4Sea team recently.  Pleased to introduce them:

Enric Julià Lluís has joined our team as a Technical Consultant. Enric is a Naval Architect, and brings experience in sustainable shipping and vessel performance to the team. He worked in the European project “ShipCLEAN”, on the development of performance models for wind-assisted propulsion (Flettner rotors and wing sails) and other renewable technologies to install on vessels (wind, solar and currents energy).

Enric also worked with Chalmers and industry partners to develop a RoPax concept ship powered entirely by energy stored in batteries and highlight the technical challenges that this new technology would face.

Avinash Aninthaneni is joining our team as Junior Technical Consultant. He is a recent graduate with an Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialized in Advanced Ship Design (EMship+), awarded by the University of Liège (first year) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (second year).

Hamid Loghmani has joined our team as Junior Technical Consultant, part of the Operations team that supports our clients. Hamid has a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Università Degli Studi di Genova, Italy. Recently, he finished the Nordic Master's programme in Maritime Engineering focusing on Ship Operations.

His master's programme brought him to Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and at the Technical University of Denmark for his second year. Hamid also brings knowledge on the various practises involved in overall vessel performance analysis. His thesis “Study of different sailing strategies that affect vessel operations in realistic weather conditions “ aimed to apply sailing strategies to improve the fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. This is definitely a subject that is very relevant to us and our clients.

We're proud that these guys joined the team. They will help our clients to accelerate in their transition to a more sustainable shipping.

Welcome on board!
